Organizers of the Students’ Social Justice Conference, “Occupation as a Form of Activism: Student Perspectives,” have extended the deadline to submit abstracts to May 15.
The conference, sponsored by the Social Justice Club and the Centre for Studies in Social Justice, runs June 1 and 2 on the University of Windsor campus. Participants will address various issues relating to occupation as a form of activism.
Specific themes include: visions for change; building solidarity; radical democracies at work; assessing the validity, functionality, and effectiveness of occupations.
