The centre’s internship and mentorship program offers expert advice and up to $5,000 in funding for local entrepreneurs ready to turn their ideas into reality.

A workshop hosted by the Centre for Enterprise and Law on Thursday, March 15, offers students help with writing a business plan in preparation for a $25,000 Ontario-wide competition.
The competition will bring investment to new businesses that can demonstrate the potential for economic impact. It is open to students or recent grads from the University of Windsor and St. Clair College.

Putting together business plans gives his students an appreciation of “the big picture,” says industrial and manufacturing systems engineering professor Zbigniew Pasek.
“Hopefully, it helps them to understand their profession requires communication and collaboration skills,” he said.
Students in his second-year course, Engineering Management and Globalization, presented their projects in a business plan competition Thursday, judged by students from the Centre for Enterprise and Law.
