A reception Friday will celebrate an exhibition of works by third-year students in the Visual Arts and the Built Environment program.
The Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association presented UWindsor president Alan Wildeman with donations totalling $170,000 at its general assembly Tuesday.
The monies will endow two scholarships – the CIBPA Windsor Scholarship Fund and the CIBPA Dr. Sergio Marchionne Scholarship Fund each received $25,000. The remaining $120,000 went to the Italian Studies Legecy Fund to support efforts to create a chair in Italian studies.
