The CAW Student Centre Marketplace is joining in the Celebration of Nations today—Thursday, February 13—offering a tour of the Mediterranean from its Homestyle station.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the lunch selections will include these middle eastern specialties: chicken shawarma; beef kabobs; meat or spinach pies; and a sampler platter of baba ghanoush, hummous, stuffed grape leaves and olives served with pita bread.

Dinner, served from 4 to 7 p.m., will feature the street foods of Italy, including fried cheese ravioli with spicy arrabiata sauce; sausage panini with peppers, onions and rapini; pollo con zucca and gorgonzola; or braciole with gravy.

The Celebration of Nations promises cultural displays and performances in the CAW Student Centre Commons, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
