The organizers of Windsor Welcome Week are inviting current students, faculty and staff to join in the spirit by purchasing an official “Unleash Your Inner Lancer” T-shirt.

The T-shirts cost $10, with proceeds benefiting the UWindsor branch of Shinerama, which raises money to fund research to fight cystic fibrosis.

“It would be great to see a sea of white ‘Unleash Your Inner Lancer’ T-shirts walking around campus during the week,” says Windsor Welcome Week volunteer coordinator Christina Alcena. “When an incoming student sees a fellow student, faculty or staff member in their Welcome Week T-shirt, they’re going to feel as though they are a part of a welcoming community with an abundance of school spirit!”

Windsor Welcome Week 2013 runs September 1 to 7.

The commemorative T-shirts are available in sizes small, medium, large, extra large, and double extra large. To order, contact Alcena at christina@uwindsor.ca by Friday, August 2.
