Jeremiah Bowers still has the fire in his belly as he begins a third term as president of the University of Windsor Students’ Alliance — the first in its 90-year history.
“A lot of people encouraged me to continue, and my passion to serve, protect, and advocate for students still raged on as it did in my very first year,” says the international relations major, re-elected to head the full-time undergraduate student government March 21.
“The journey we’ve begun together isn’t over yet.”
Bowers pledges to protect student services and improve engagement with members.
“It’s important to remember that students have the power to shape the world, and you should never settle for anything less than what students deserve,” he says.
Candidates for the organization’s three vice-presidencies all ran unopposed: Ahmed Abdallah to a second term as VP student services, Sahibjot Grewal to the finance and operations portfolio, and Arop Plaek Deng to student advocacy.
