It’s official: Mary-Ann Rennie is a friend to UWindsor retirees.

The Windsor University Retirees’ Association conferred its “Friends of WURA” award on the special events manager in the Office of the President, Thursday during its annual luncheon.

“No matter what the WURA retirees group requests of her, notwithstanding how difficult and sometimes almost impossible to deliver, Mary-Ann Rennie always finds a way and goes above and beyond to satisfy our needs, always with a smile on her face,” said the association’s president, Roger Lauzon.

The event attracted about 80 members of the group, which encompasses retired faculty, librarians, and administrators.
