Success last season has seen the Lancer baseball team earn a promotion from division 2 to division 1 of the National Club Baseball Association. The squad will hold open tryouts September 8 on the diamond at the Libro Centre.

Interested players must:

• be enrolled in at least three classes for the fall 2017 semester,
• bring a glove, cleats, and proper baseball equipment, and
• e-mail head coach Frank Jeney at fjeney@uwindsor.ca, with the subject line “Lancer baseball tryout.”

The Libro Centre is the Lancers’ home field, located at 3295 Meloche Road in Amherstburg. The tryouts will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Learn more at goLancers.ca.
