Edith Piaf’s La vie en rose, Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen, Leonard Bernstein’s 100 Easy Ways, My Funny Valentine, Michel LeGrand’s movie themes including Summer of ’42 … all these and more will greet listeners during “So in Love,” a romantic afternoon concert featuring soprano Lesley Andrew and pianist Alde Calongcagong, Sunday in the Heritage Auditorium at Assumption Hall.
The School of Creative Arts presents the event in the run-up to St. Valentine’s Day, with favourite opera arias, Broadway show-stoppers, love standards from the classic American songbook and movie love themes.
