Mark your calendars for the Welcoming Celebration, Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 3 p.m. in the Toldo Lancer Centre. The orientation event, like a pep rally for new students following their program orientation sessions, will receive them into the University community.

“Attendees are encouraged to wear blue and gold to show our incoming first-years their Lancer spirit,” says Megan Elliott, a student development specialist in the Student Success & Leadership Centre.

Highlights of Wednesday’s program include prize draws — including for a $4,000 tuition voucher sponsored by the University of Windsor Alumni Association, inspiring words of welcome from senior administrators, and the announcement of winners of the Battle of the Faculties competition for participation in UWindsor Welcome Week activities.
