Friends and colleagues of Shirley Knight have organized a dinner to raise funds to renovate her home to accommodate her sons, who have cerebral palsy and limited mobility.

Knight has worked as a UWindsor housekeeper for 30 years.

Organizers of the fundraiser hope to support installation of an accessible shower and an enclosed hoistway elevator in the family home, at a cost of more than $30,000.
