Input sought to support process of selecting associate vice-president of student experience

On Tuesday, provost Patti Weir announced the search process and timeline for the University of Windsor’s next associate vice-president, student experience.

Over the next six months, a consultative approach will be implemented to attract a strong field of candidates and to ultimately provide a recommendation on a preferred candidate to president Robert Gordon.

The search committee is made up of senior leadership, academic deans, a student representative, and members of faculty and staff. Consultation opportunities for the search committee to engage University constituents and the broader community will be ongoing, and the new associate vice-president of student experience should be announced in December 2022.

As a first step in the consultations, the committee encourages members of the University community to complete an online survey before June 30 about the priorities, experience, and characteristics that the next associate vice-president of student experience should possess.
