Sharing approaches to theory and practice for clinical lawyers, academics, and law students is on the agenda for the fifth annual conference of the Association for Canadian Clinical Legal Education, this week at Windsor Law.
“Clinics, Classrooms and Community: Clinical Legal Education at a Crossroads” will open Thursday, October 23, with a keynote address by Sameer Ashar, a professor in the School of Law at the University of California, Irvine.
A pre-conference roundtable session Wednesday on the balancing research and writing with clinical education has already reached its maximum capacity.
The association encourages the promotion and improvement of clinical legal education in Canadian law schools. Find more information, including a full program and registration details, on the conference website. Professor Gemma Smyth asks any late registrants to contact her at gemma.smyth@uwindsor.ca.
