A new tool to help students build better teams and identify relevant talents is aimed at improving cross-faculty collaboration and stimulating innovation on campus, says Nicole Anderson.
Program director for the Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre, she is asking instructors to encourage students to use Kahoots, an online networking community for student projects and startups.
“Students can search and post academic or extracurricular projects—whether they be short-term or long-term—to find like-minded students with the skills they’re seeking,” says Anderson. “In order to make the launch a big success, we are asking professors to help get the word out to their students.”
The networking site is available here: www.kahootshq.com. For more information about how to incorporate this tool into course curricula, e-mail Anderson at nsleiman@uwindsor.ca.
