A free program will offer UWindsor students tools to build their financial literacy knowledge.
Through a series of fun, insightful videos, Enriched Academy will help participants steer away from poor money management traps, avoid credit card traps that can pile up debt, and understand the fundamentals of saving and investing early.
The roll-out follows positive reviews of a pilot implementation in the 2020-21 academic year, says Marian Doll, director of Student Awards and Financial Aid.
“We have been working with the team at Enriched Academy for several years now and we have seen the program and the platform evolve significantly,” she says. “They are truly committed to ensuring that this powerful information is available and accessible to everyone willing to take the time to learn about it.”
Currently, limited licenses are available, so Doll encourages interested students to sign up now for immediate access to the material. Those who complete the program by Feb. 15 will be eligible to apply for one of five $1,000 Enriched Academy Awards via the UWinAward Profile/Application.
