Jaydee Tarpeh and Nyasha Kapfumvuti, the principals behind Xenia Education, finished atop the judging during the first-ever virtual pitch competition closing the Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre’s RBC EPIC Founders program.
Seven teams vied for prizes via Zoom on Aug. 6, as the culmination of the 12-week accelerator program which provides startups with business training and mentorship.
Xenia Education plans to improve the international student experience by developing a suite of training simulation and analytics tools for students and their post-secondary institutions. The founders received an award of $3,500 to benefit their company.
A second-place prize of $1,000 went to Braunte Petric, Adam Dunn, and Oliver Balmokune, founders of Vectorgaze.
