A screening of two films of exploration and adventure Thursday, May 15, at the Capitol Theatre marks a partnership between the Windsor International Film Festival and Science Rendezvous.
The festival’s spring series presents two documentaries:
- Expedition to the End of the World at 6 p.m.
- Particle Fever at 8 p.m.
Directed by Daniel Dencik, Expedition to the End of the World sends artists and scientists on a three-mast schooner to the rapidly melting ice massifs in northeast Greenland.
Particle Fever gives audiences a front row seat to a significant and inspiring scientific breakthrough as it happens, following scientists during the launch of the Large Hadron Collider, the biggest and most expensive experiment in human history.
Tickets are $13, $9 for students. The Capitol Theatre is located at 121 University Avenue West. More information is available on the Windsor International Film Festival website.
