Both men’s and women’s hockey will host the only home games of this weekend’s varsity sports action.

The Lancer men will face off against the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Friday and the Brock Badgers on Saturday — both games start at 7:30 p.m. The women will play the Laurentian Voyageurs at 4 p.m. Saturday and the Nipissing Lakers at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Capri Pizzeria Recreation Centre is the home arena for Lancer hockey.

The women’s volleyball squad will travel to Thunder Bay for matches against Lakehead on Saturday and Sunday.

Basketball will tip-off against the Gryphons in Guelph on Saturday; the women play at 1 p.m. and the men at 3 p.m.

Track and field athletes will compete in the Jet’s Pizza Invitational in Saginaw, Michigan; the John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston, Massachusetts; and the Can Am Invitational in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
