Audiences exiting the current University Players production have issued high praise, says marketing coordinator Anna Galka.
“The comments we have been gathering extol not only the writing and staging, but the quality of the actors’ work,” she says.
An Experiment with an Air Pump is part detective story, part science play, told in the same house in time frames 200 years apart.
Ann Price is a regular member of the drama department’s audiences. “We always love coming, and we’ll always come back,” she said.
Students from the drama society showed their appreciation the Womyn’s Centre with a certificate and a gift of tickets to the University Players.
University Players will stage “An Experiment with an Air Pump” January 29 through February 7.
Graduating drama students in the BFA acting program will present a sneak peek Sunday of performances they are preparing for auditions.
