The University of Windsor's Chemical Control Centre has developed several Hazardous Waste Management Programs to assist the campus community with the safe handling of hazardous waste and to ensure that all wastes generated on campus are handled in accordance with regulatory requirements and in a manner which minimizes adverse effects on health, safety, and the environment.

In addition, the Chemical Control Centre is responsible for providing training, information, and advice pertaining to chemical safety, hazardous materials handing, disposal, storage, spill response/reporting and environmental management.
