Graduate Application
The application process begins in the University of Windsor Graduate Applications portal where you will apply, pay, and submit your initial online application.

Scholarships
To be eligible for and receive an entrance scholarship, a full application package must be completed and approved prior to the scholarship deadline.

Step 1: Complete the initial online application
- Confirm all requirements for the graduate program you are applying to:
- Log in to the UWinsite Student application portal and create an account if you do not already have one. Avoid bookmarking the application portal link, it is not possible to access the site from a bookmarked link. Current and former UWindsor students must also create an account in the application website, your UWinID and password will not work.
- Complete the application.
- Pay the $125 application fee.
- Click the "Submit Application" bar.

If you have successfully submitted your application you will see a “Thank you for Submitting” message.
Once your application and payment have been processed, you will receive an application acknowledgement email. Note that it may take up to two business days to receive this email. Please add gradadmit@uwindsor.ca to your safe sender list. Check your junk mail folder if you haven’t received this email within two business days.
Step 2: Activate UWin ID
If you already have an active UWin ID proceed to Step 3.
- Use the student number and personal access code provided in the email from Step 1 to activate your UWin account.
- You will receive an email with your activated UWin ID username and password.
Step 3: Upload your documents to UWinsite Student

If your documents are double-sided, be sure to scan and submit both sides of each document.

An automatic email will be sent out to referees, if required.
- All materials, including transcripts, submitted to the University of Windsor become the property of the University and will not be returned.
- All post-secondary education (universities and colleges) must be declared on your application. This includes incomplete studies, non-degree, and transfer credit courses.
