Dr. Robson is Associate Professor of Marketing at the Odette School of Business. She holds a BSc in Psychology from Queen’s University, an MA in Psychology and an MBA from Simon Fraser University. She completed her PhD at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in 2016.
Dr. Robson’s research focuses on consumer innovation, the gamification of consumer experiences, and new technology in marketing. Her research has appeared in journals including European Journal of Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, Information & Management, Technovation, MIS Quarterly Executive, Business Horizons, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Advertising, and Journal of Marketing Education, among others. She is a Fellow of the King’s College (London) Consumer and Organisational Data Analytics Research Centre, and was recognized by Scival as among the top ten marketing scholars in Canada for the time period of 2019-2022.
Dr. Robson has published over thirty teaching cases with associated teaching notes, including one Ivey bestselling case on Mattel's iconic Barbie. She serves on the Editorial Boards of the SAGE Express Case collection, the Journal of Marketing Education, and Business Horizons.
