Dr. Tanya Basok, Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminology, held the position of the Environmental Sustainability Advocate between 2016 and 2020.
The mandate of Environmental Sustainability Advocate was to make the University of Windsor a more ecologically responsible place for work, study, teaching, and research by facilitating projects that improve campus energy efficiency, reduce waste, enhance the physical campus, promote environmental sustainability, enrich student learning opportunities, and strengthen partnerships with the local community.
