Colour Values

Our primary colour palette is made up of the three colours used in the UWindsor logo and represents the core of our personality.

The consistent use of these core colours defines and reinforces our distinctive character and should be used on all University materials.

The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is a universally recognized colour matching system based on lithography printing inks. The colour palettes include specific spot colour references for both coated and uncoated paper stocks (please note that these numbers may differ due to the way inks appear on different stocks) and process conversions (CMYK) for printing applications with limited budgets. Also included are RGB equivalents for use in Word, Excel or PowerPoint, hexadecimal equivalents for emitted light and Web applications as well as embroidery thread and vinyl lettering values.

Due to variations in browser and monitor displays, the colours should not be sampled via screen capture or other means. The original numerical values should be entered in the appropriate software program.
