Hello Windsor Law! Quick update here from your Students’ Law Society. We hope everyone is enjoying their summers so far. 

Of all Things Registration: 

As we begin the registration cycle, we devote this issue of WINDSOR LAW Matters to registration.  Here are some things you should consider before you start: 

I hope your summers are going well and you are finding at least a little time to swing in a hammock or lie on a beach reading judicial biographies (or whatever).  Only a few thanks and personnel notes from me this time.

Windsor Law would like to recognize the following days that members of our community may be observing:

Recent University of Windsor Faculty of Law graduate, Joshua Ginsberg, is the 2011 winner of the Harvey T. Strosberg Essay Prize Competition, which carries an award of $10,000.

The annual competition is open to all Canadian university students enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or professional program. Essays may be written from the perspective of any discipline and must involve an aspect of class actions.

June – The end of one academic year and the start of another.  

Our third year students graduated on Friday, June 17^th – a day of celebration.   It ended three long years of Law School, but a beginning for the future, full of expectation.   Good luck – we will miss you.
