Peter W. Halford Award in the Humanities

This award is to honour the memory of Dr. Peter Halford (1942-2002), former professor and counsellor in the Department of French, who studied the lexicon and history of the French of Le Detroit.

Eligibility:

  • full-time undergraduate students in second, third or fourth year
  • minimum B+ average (9.5)
  • major or joint major in History, English, Philosophy, French, Classics, Modern Languages
  • candidate must have returned to full-time studies after having been away from school for at least two years
